Please read this document carefully before using Tradecility. By creating an account you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide directly — your name, email address, and password when you create an account, plus everything you enter while using the app: trade records, strategy profiles, journal entries, chat messages, and uploaded chart images.
2. How we use your information
Your data is used solely to provide the app services: grading your trades, generating AI feedback and coaching, detecting patterns, producing your psychological profile and periodic reviews, and sending you account-related emails. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. AI processing of your data
Trade details, strategy profiles, and messages you send to the AI coach are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate feedback, grades, and coaching responses. This processing happens on a per-request basis to produce the content you asked for — it is not used to train AI models.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the app: Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payment processing (we never see or store your full card details), Resend for transactional emails such as password resets and receipts, and Anthropic for AI-generated feedback. Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform its function.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely with our infrastructure providers and protected using industry-standard measures including encryption in transit. Access to your data is restricted to what is required to operate the app.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your trade data, strategy profile, and personal information are permanently removed.
7. Your rights and choices
You can review and update your account details at any time from your profile. Nothing is required to leave — simply stop using the app, or delete your account entirely to remove all associated data.
8. Account deletion
Deleting your account from the Danger zone section of your profile permanently removes your trades, feedback, patterns, reviews, strategy profile, and personal information. This action cannot be undone.
9. Cookies
We use cookies solely to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Children's privacy
Tradecility is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The last updated date below will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
